Kisses her cheek softly. “I-I love you, Alice.”
Alice drank a glass of tea, trying to keep calm as her eyes shined with unshed tears. “His life is over.. he’s not the one pregnant with the damn child..” She took another sip of her tea
“Alice, I said I was sorry! I’m mourning with a close friend of mine. Of coarse I’m going to be emotional!”She looked away. “Yeah, but you didn’t need to say your life was over.”
